Independent Agents: We need a signed copy of our Producers Agreement , W9 Form, and copies of your Resident License as well as your Errors & Omissions policy. We will not ask for this when you sign up if you are a Farmers Agent appointed though Kraft Lake so it is key that you use your @farmers email to skip the hassle.

your success is our success

🙋‍♂️ We have been in the insurance industry as an M.G.A. for over 10 years. In that time we have seen the rapid pace of technology, regulatory changes, and economic changes transform the way we do business. Everyone wants an instant quote now. We get it. Unfortunately with niche markets (we call these risks “policies with hair”) the underwriting process takes time. Before getting appointed with us, we hope you join us in our commitment to:

  • Get to know the risk and available markets

  • Provide complete and accurate information in all communications

  • Demonstrate patience with the time necessary for underwriting

  • Approach all interactions in fairness and with active listening

  • Evaluate options and offer a sincere effort to address needs

  • Find amenable solutions for the insured given the reality of each instance

If this works for you… Send us your submissions and we’ll do our best!

FAQs from agents

Q: What is the commission?

A: This depends on the line of business but your final quote will include rates, fees, and commissions. Due to your appointment via Kraft Lake, you are paid directly to your efolio. (Mack Hone)

Q: What web browser should we use?

A: While many agents prefer Internet Explorer, we find that most people do not keep it up to date. We highly recommend something like Chrome, Firefox, or Safari. (Ashley Dodge)

Q: Where to I call or email about a claim (or potential claim) about one of my insureds?

A: As part of every policy packet you receive from Access One80 you can expect to find the insurance company’s claims contact and filing instructions. You can find this in the attachments section of the portal. Remember, we are an intermediary between you, your client and the risk bearing entity or insurance company. Our staff does not have the ability to adjust and settle claims or the ability to answer hypothetical claims scenarios.

You also have the ability to email us; claims@bigfootbinds.com if you have any general questions. (Ben Shoemaker)
